Ranger is a default class in CoronaCTF

Summary[edit | edit source]

A powerful ranged combatant with a focus on damage and debuffs from afar using the user's bow. Rangers are deadly at a distance, but no movement abilities or melee weapons make them an easy target in close quarters. The Ranger class is simple to use, but can be useful in many creative ways.

Abilities[edit | edit source]

Bow[edit | edit source]

Bow (on hit)

Deal up to 9 damage on hit. Crouch to trigger a special ability when you hit an enemy with it, though abilities will cost additional arrows. Press 'drop item' to cycle through these abilities at any time. Arrows regenerate overtime (caps at 64).

Poison Arrow
Type: Active Price: Free
Description: Applies 10 seconds of poison I to opponents on hit. Consumes 5 arrows.
Slowing Arrow
Type: Active Price: Free
Description: Applies 10 seconds of slowness I to opponents on hit. Consumes 5 arrows.
Gravity Arrow
Type: Active Price: 30 Coins
Description: Applies levitate to an opponent on hit. Consumes 20 arrows.
Slaying Arrow
Type: Active Price: 100 Coins
Description: Instantly kills an opponent on hit. Consumes 64 arrows.

Primordial Arrow
Type: Active Price: 80 Coins
Description: Spawns a thicket of leaves and sweet berry bushes wherever the arrow lands. Consumes 40 arrows.

Ultimate[edit | edit source]

The Ranger ultimate allows the player to shoot 5 arrows at a time, including special arrows (except for primordial arrow). The User simply rains death on the enemy for a short duration.

Arrow Storm
Type: Buff Duration: 30 seconds
Description: Adds 4 additional arrows to each shot in a horizontal arc. Special arrows, except for primordial arrow, can still be used and will consume the same amount of arrows.
